CONWAY, AR – Hendrix College sophomore Collin Radack
will be playing his summer ball with the Xenia Scouts this summer, but before that he has a Spring season to complete, and he got that off to quite a start. Hendrix opened their season with a three game series with Division 1 Centenary in Shreveport, Louisiana. Hendrix got off to a good start on Friday with an unbelievable victory featuring a football like score of 21-12 in game one of the series. Unfortunately, the Warriors dropped the final two games of the series by more reasonable baseball scores of 6-4 and 5-3.
However, the story for Hendrix was the great start by Radack. Through three games he has amassed a .727 batting average with 8 hits in 11 at bats. Radack tallied 5 RBI in the series with a triple and 5 runs. Most astounding of the already impressive stat line is that Radack boasts an .813 on base percentage with his three walks and two hit by pitches.
Hendrix will continue their season this weekend with a round robin series in Tyler, Texas against Texas Lutheran, University of Texas at Tyler, and Freed-Hardeman.
